Nicolas Paillard

French industrial designer, graduated from Les Ateliers / Ensci de Paris in 1992. Since then he has worked mainly between Paris and Santiago de Chile, as well as some projects in London. His work has been developed in the creation of objects and furniture, always focused on the use of local raw materials, such as wood, clay, copper and leather, among others. At the same time, he has developed numerous projects in scenography of exhibitions and brand images for retailers for more than 15 years. Renowned brands have used their vision and experience in the creation of sales spaces such as Bell&Ross, L'Occitane, Annick Goutal, Levi's Kids in France and Falabella, GMO, Coca-Cola in Chile. Different awards have marked his career as DIPA 2005 (design and innovation in plastics), gold trophy in Popaï Award for the L'Occitane stand at the Galeries Lafayettes Paris 2012 and the prize for the best commercial space at Casacor in Chile 2013. In an area further away from the design, remodeled and managed for 6 years the "Barco Rojo", a restaurant located on the Chilean coast that emerged in the late nineties. Then he crossed a large part of the Andes mountain range aboard a motor home completely enabled by him. It is this alternation, the crossing between the personal and the professional, that nourishes their work.
